Every year, the renowned UK-based airline and airport review platform Stytrax surveys global travellers to compile its prestigious list of the top airports worldwide. In its 25th year of evaluating airports based on comprehensive passenger surveys, Skytrax has revealed the world’s best airports for 2024, with the results being based on customer feedback collected between August 2023 and March 2024, assessing the overall airport experience.

Out of the 570 airports worldwide this year, Qatar’s Doha Hamad International Airport, known for its ultra-modern design, easy-to-navigate terminals, and high-end shopping, reclaimed the first spot, beating 12-time winner Singapore Changi Airport down to second place. It’s also one of several airports that offer free city tours for passengers with long layovers.

Doha Hamad Airport also secured the accolade of ‘World’s Best Airport Shopping’ for the second consecutive year, along with the prestigious title of “Best Airport in the Middle East” for the tenth year in a row.
