Hilton Worldwide recently announced plans to enter a new country with the signing of a management agreement with Grupo Rahal to operate a new build 120-room Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay – the country’s second largest city situated on the Parana River and triple border with Argentina and Brazil.
Scheduled to begin construction later this year and open at the beginning of 2020, this new Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Paraguay’s booming shopping destination furthers the company’s plans "to introduce its leading brands in new countries," according to a Hilton news release.
Forming part of the award-winning upper midscale Hilton Garden Inn brand, the 120-room Hilton Garden Inn Ciudad del Este will be strategically located near Ciudad del Este’s retail and commercial hot spots, as well as its main corporate area. Guests will find themselves five minutes from the Puente de la Amistad bridge which connects Paraguay to Brazil and 20 minutes to the Guarani International Airport.
Hilton Garden Inn Ciudad del Este dining options will include a full service sky restaurant offering freshly prepared full, cooked-to-order breakfast, lunch and dinner, a bar and the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry shop with a selection of readymade meals, beverages and snacks.
